On-the-Job Training (OJT) for New Hires
Designed to offset the costs of hiring and training individuals who require additional skills in order to perform the required job duties. Funding for the subsidy of eligible new hire wages, not to exceed 6 months or 800 hours, can be applied for through the Pennsylvania CareerLink or Ohio Means Job centers.
Internship and Work-based Learning
Opportunities are available for in-school students to them in gaining on-the-job experience directly related to their program studies. To find out about current programs, contact the Pennsylvania CareerLink or Ohio Means Job centers.
